Why didn't they linger on Wade's reaction to his aunt's death? The most they do is have him say Nolan will pay for it, but seriously, they couldn't have shown him have to get dragged away, or give him even a moment of wallowing before resuming the story? Steven Spielberg, you're a master of reactions, but this is one reaction you shouldn't have ignored.

The Passion of the Christ Rating

Mel Gibson's passion for depicting The Passion is clear and present.
Quick note: I watched in English, but if you are on the fence about this movie, you can't get the English subtitles off the screen (at least from iTunes on Apple TV). My advice would be to watch it in Hebrew, which I intend to do after I publish this, or just ignore the subtitles if possible, because they do not show every single word uttered on screen, and are slightly different from what the English dub says, likely to go along with the Hebrew mouth movements (which I noticed). Otherwise, a fine movie that could have developed Jesus more before they showed Judas betray Him. Thanks for reading and have a nice Easter weekend.

Krypton 102: House of El Review

Spoilers Ahead
Before I start, I'm on iTunes now as HDP Podcasts, so you should totally check out my Krypton
podcast, where I go a little deeper than this, full spoilers and all, but since I'm just one guy, they're
fairly short. Also, Episode 2 may not be up till Friday because I got school stuff going on, but will
aim for sooner rather than later.
Now on with the mildly spoilery review:
The adventures of Seg El continues. Adam Strange has a couple of strangely goofy moments in an
episode with big family history dumps, trial by combat, and Val El back in holographic form like Jor El
in Man of Steel. As the cape keeps vanishing, a potential conspiracy from House Vex makes for a
vexing mystery on why they flushed the Els down the Orwellian memory hole. But this is Krypton, not
Ancient Aliens.

The Terror Series Premiere Review

The Terror Series Premiere Review

The most terrifying parts of this double premiere is how slowly it moves and the fact that I could barely keep track of character names. Still worth a watch, and expect an audio podcast in the next 24 hours. Something else I found terrifying was that AMC has the whole season behind "AMC Premiere," but that's a topic for another day.
